RELEVANT COURSEWORK

• Game Development Capstone: Worked as a designer and lead programmer on Goliath, which is a 3d game where the player battles a giant walking robot by using a grappling hook to scale it and destroy its outer armor by targeting its weak points. Worked primarily on gameplay programming, asset loading, game loop coding such as updating and drawing objects as well as collision detection. Ran and participated in playtests, documented and fixed bugs.

• Game Modification Workshop: Worked on a small team as game designer, level designer, and programmer. Also ran frequent playtests, gathered feedback from testers and documented bugs. Created a game called Intruder, which is a multiplayer tactical shooter which featured a medium-sized multipath level with indoor and outdoor areas as well as a complex balance system which would make players loose balance and fall if they met certain conditions such as being shot while running.

• Action Games Programming: Worked as programmer for Project Overtkill, an old-school top down shooter. Worked primarily on level design/programming and enemy programming including enemy creation/spawning, movement and firing.
